The MoFFA has officially started inspecting facilities in the Greater Accra region in order to obtain their licenses. The very first facility inspected was the Lashibi Funeral Home and Crematorium, situated in Lashibi. Led by Dr Yaw Twerefour the registrar, the team successfully inspected six fundamental services at the facility which consisted of a funeral home, mortuary, crematorium, columbarium, cemetery and hearse services. Among them was Dr Hobeno a consultant Pathologist from 37 Military Hospital assisting as well. Mr. Emmanuel Okyere Acting Director for Research, Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mavis Twumuwaa Appiah Acting Director Compliance, Quality Assurance, Kofi Adjei Ntiri Acting Director for Inspection and Licensing, Rodney Nii Boi Turkson, Judith Effah Smith and Joshua Boakye-Mensah.
